WizTom for Oracle Forms Web eases the building of multilingual Internet database applications! By enabling instantaneous translation of Oracle Forms, WizTom for Oracle Forms Web makes application deployment on the Internet in multiple languages quick and simple.

Duplicating Forms and modifying SQL code to localize your Internet database application are time-consuming and expensive tasks, especially as translated Forms and Reports must be kept in line with the database and application updates.

By eliminating these constraints, WizTom for Oracle Forms Web enables your Oracle development staff to focus on their main job —develop and maintain Forms and Reports— while still providing your users with translated, up-to-date information.

Architecture Overview

WizTom for Oracle Forms Web is based on the same technology as WizTom for Java. To translate Oracle Forms specific components, WizTom for Oracle Forms Web provides enhanced Forms interpreter cores based on the original ones, no matter the version you are using (f45all.jar, f60web.jar, etc.).

Since Java is available on many platforms, WizTom for Oracle Forms Web can translate Forms located on any Oracle Application Server (Windows, Unix, etc.).

Oracle Extractors

In addition to providing a specialized interception engine for Oracle Forms on a Web browser client, WizTom for Oracle Forms Web also comes with extractors to automatically retrieve texts (labels, messages, etc.) from:

 Forms (.FMT files);

 Menus (.MMT files);

 Remote Databases (Using a SQL Extractor).

Reports Support

WizTom for the Web may be used in addition to WizTom for Oracle Forms Web in order to translate reports generated by Oracle Reports Server on a Web client browser.

WizTom for the Web can translate the following types of reports:

 Reports in HTML format;

 Reports in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat).

Supported Versions

WizTom for Oracle Forms Web supports the following Oracle Forms versions:

 Oracle Forms Developer 4.5;

 Oracle Forms Release 6i (Oracle Forms 6).

Additional Oracle Forms Web versions may be supported depending on customer demand.
