WizTom for BusinessObjects

WizTom for BusinessObjects eases collaborative work and business intelligence across language barriers! By enabling instantaneous translation of Reports including ad-hoc reports, WizTom for BusinessObjects makes information sharing in multiple languages quick and simple.

Duplicating and administering translated Universes and Reports or maintaining a computer park with different language versions of BusinessObjects are time-consuming and expensive tasks, especially as translated Universes and Reports must be kept in line with the database and the original, "master" Universes and Reports.

By eliminating these constraints, WizTom for BusinessObjects enables your BusinessObjects staff to focus on their main job —develop and maintain Universes and Reports— while still providing your users with translated, up-to-date information.

Architecture Overview

WizTom for BusinessObjects is based on the same technology as WizTom for Windows. To fully translate BusinessObjects specific controls, WizTom for BusinessObjects comes with an extension to expand WizTom for Windows capabilities and gain full-control over BusinessObjects software.

Thanks to this BusinessObjects extension, WizTom for BusinessObjects provides support for:

 BusinessObjects Designer Universes;

 BusinessObjects Full-Client Reports.

As a result, not only is WizTom for BusinessObjects capable of translating the user interface (BusinessObjects menus, labels, wizards, etc.), but it also handles the custom documents you have created using BusinessObjects Full-Client. Thanks to WizTom for BusinessObjects, there is no need to install other BusinessObjects versions or duplicate Universes and Reports!

BusinessObjects Extractors

WizTom for BusinessObjects also provides specialized extractors to work with BusinessObjects associated files directly from disk. BusinessObjects Extractors can extract texts from:

 Universes (.UNV files);

 Full-Client Reports and Templates (.REP and .RET files).
