Translation Pad - Translating with the HTML
Editor |

The HTML Editor allows you to easily view
and translate long messages and HTML paragraphs.
If it is not readily available, you first
need to make sure the bottom panel is visible
with the Edit Mode icon. This icon activates
a panel at the bottom of WizTom Translation
Pad, which contains two edit boxes: one
box on the left hand side for the original
string, and a second box on the right hand
side for the translated string.
Also, make sure that the HTML Editor is
enabled with the 'Enable HTML Editor' icon.
If it is not available, HTML paragraphs
will de displayed as code instead of being
displayed as in a Web browser.

Paragraphs extracted from Web pages can
have embedded HTML tags, which makes the
translation slightly more difficult in the
grid view. Also, because Web content is
significantly larger than strings extracted
from traditional Windows applications, the
grid view becomes inadequate.

On the example above, the translation includes
formatting: some of the text is in bold
characters. By clicking on the "Bold" icon,
the HTML Editor automatically adds the necessary
HTML tags!
The HTML Editor Toolbar is available to
easily edit HTML paragraphs. All necessary
HTML coding is generated automatically by
using the toolbar's buttons.
