| WizTom
Translation Pad - Installation |
|
|
|
As with WizTom Studio, WizTom Translation
Pad comes in two versions:
ANSI:
for any Windows platform. The executable
file is wizpada.exe;
Unicode:
for Windows NT4/2000/XP only. The executable
file is wizpadw.exe.
Look for these files using the Windows
'Find files' feature if necessary, then
run it. If you have installed WizTom Studio,
WizTom Translation Pad should be installed
in your WizTom Studio directory, which is
C:\WizArt by default. If it was sent to
you by email, all you need to do is run
the program.
WizTom Translation Pad installs very easily.
It comes as a standalone executable file
and does not require any external DLL to
run. It does not modify the Windows Registry
except for .THP and .THZ file association.

First Time |
 |
|
|
When you start WizTom Translation Pad for the first
time, the First Time window appears to let you configure
your installation.

|

|
|
Here are a few explanations about each installation
option:
Associate
.THP...: associate files with the THP extension
with WizTom Translation Pad, so that double-clicking
on a THP file automatically opens it with the Translation
Pad.
Associate
.THZ...: same as above, but for files with the THZ
extension.
Install
shortcut on desktop: add a shorcut to WizTom Translation
Pad on your Windows Desktop for quick access.
Install
shortcut in start menu: add a shortcut to WizTom
Translation Pad in your Windows Start menu, in the folder
specified in the 'Program Folder' box.
It is recommended you keep all options selected, then
press Close to start working.
