To open a Multilingual Database, click on the Open Thesaurus icon from the menu bar. This opens a dialog box allowing you to select the Multilingual Database you want to edit.

There are several types of files available from the Open Thesaurus dialog box. Here is the list with more details:

 Translation Pad Files (*.thp): a Translation Pad file exported from WizTom Studio;

 Translation Pad Zipped Files (*.thz): a compressed Translation Pad file exported from WizTom Studio;

 Thesaurus Files (*.the): a standard WizTom Studio project file;

 Thesaurus Templates (*.tht): a WizTom Studio project template file.

Translators should normally work on Translation Pad or Translation Pad Zipped Files. The other options are not important for WizTom Translation Pad and should not be modified.

Choose your Translation Pad file and click on the Open button to open it.
